Fees

One engagement covers your family, including you, your spouse and dependent family members. Independent family members may opt for separate engagements, if preferred. Each engagement includes a comprehensive financial plan and ongoing advisory services. All fees are exclusive of GST, which will be charged as applicable.

Fees are payable quarterly, one quarter in advance. Your annual fee is set by your slab, using the closing value of your assets under advice.

  • Year 1: ₹25,000 at the start of the engagement for the first quarter, and the balance of the annual fee in three equal payments over the next three quarters. The year 1 fee is based on your assets under advice when we begin.
  • Year 2 onwards: the annual fee is recalculated on each engagement anniversary and paid in four equal quarterly payments.

Payment Terms

  • How to pay: bank transfer or UPI only, never in cash.
  • GST: charged as applicable, in addition to the fees above.
  • How AUA is measured: the closing value of your financial assets under my advice on each anniversary of your engagement, supported by your account and investment statements. In your first year, it is the value when we begin. Assets held under an existing distributor arrangement are not counted.
  • Payment schedule: every payment is made one quarter in advance. In year 1, ₹25,000 is paid at the start and the balance of the annual fee over the next three quarters. From year 2, the annual fee is split into four equal quarterly payments.
  • Moving between fixed fee and AUA fee: if your financial assets grow beyond ₹50 lakh, you move to the AUA fee from your next renewal, only with your written consent.
  • Moving between slabs: your slab is reviewed once a year, on your engagement anniversary.
  • Ending the engagement early: you can end the engagement at any time. Refund terms for the first quarter's ₹25,000 and for later quarters are exactly as in your advisory agreement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the discovery call charged?

The discovery call is a conversation to understand your needs and check fit. No advice is given and no fee is charged for it.

Why is the first quarter's fee higher?

The first quarter includes gathering your information, analysing it and building your complete financial plan. That is where most of the work happens, whichever fee option applies to you.

What counts as "financial assets"?

Investments I advise on, such as mutual funds, ETF, Pension Funds, bonds and deposits. Your home and other physical assets are not included in the fee calculation.

Will my fee change if markets fall?

Under the AUA fee, your fee is recalculated once a year on your engagement anniversary, so it moves with your assets annually, subject to your slab's minimum fee. It stays fixed within the year.

Do I have to move my investments to you?

No. Your money stays in your own accounts, and you implement the advice yourself with my guidance.
